Teaching Children about Internet Safety

Looking for a way to teach children about internet safety? Or obtain a few tips yourself on what to create as house rules for internet rules for different age children? Go to: http://www.netsmart.org. This site was created by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the Boys and Girls Club of America. It is a colorful, interactive educational site for children ages 5-17 and uses 3-D, games, and quizzes to help children understand the safety rules. Also on this site are safety pledges designed for children of different ages, tips for parents, and resources for teachers and law enforcement.
