REGISTRATION is CLOSED for Blooming in Blue
Each April, communities across the country plant blue pinwheels to honor Child Abuse Prevention Month. The pinwheel — introduced nationally in 2008 — represents the joyful, carefree childhood every child deserves. It is a symbol of hope, resilience, and our shared responsibility to keep children safe.
CHILDREN DESERVE TO BE HAPPY, HEALTHY, AND PROTECTED!
Throughout March, the Children’s Advocacy Center of Erie County invites local residents to participate by ordering free Child Abuse Prevention yard signs and blue pinwheels. These visual displays spark conversations, raise awareness, and show children that their community stands with them.
How to participate:
- Click the button below to complete the online order form.
- Request a yard sign and select the number of pinwheels you’d like.
- Add any placement instructions (e.g., “near the front porch,” “left of walkway,” “center of garden bed”).
- Volunteers will place your sign and pinwheels in your yard before April 1.
- Participation is free; donations are gratefully accepted to support CACerie’s prevention programs.
Together, we can plant hope, strengthen families, and build a safer Erie County for every child.

This March, the Children’s Advocacy Center of Erie County is partnering with The Bumbling Bee Flower Farm to offer a meaningful way to support Child Abuse Prevention Month. When you purchase seed packets, you’re planting more than flowers — you’re planting hope.
The Bumbling Bee Flower Farm’s annual seed sale features easy‑to‑grow flowers and vegetables selected for reliability, strong performance, and stunning results in home gardens . For this special fundraiser, a portion of every seed packet sold will support CACerie’s Pinwheels for Prevention Project, helping us raise awareness and strengthen families across Erie County.
How to Participate
- Visit bumblingbeeflowers.com and look through the Fundraiser Seeds collection.
- Choose from a variety of flower and vegetable seed packets. Most $5 each!
- Click your seed packet to order
- Click Children’s Advocacy Center as your Charity Supporting
- Select your Quantity, then click add to CART
- Choose CONTINUE SHOPPING and repeat for each seed packet you want
- Complete your purchase — proceeds directly support CACerie’s prevention programs.
- Plant your seeds this spring and watch your garden bloom with hope for the Children.
